ATTENDING CONVENTION SESSIONS
  • Log in using the link in the top right hand corner of the screen.
  • In a session’s description window, click on the yellow button with the ▷ icon that says "Open Zoom", “Open Vimeo”, “Open YouTube”, or “Open Videostream” Click on this button. These links will become visible 10 minutes before the session starts.
  • Can’t see the yellow ▷ button or can’t press it to open the Videostream? You’re either not signed in to Sched or it’s not 10 minutes before the session start time.
  • If a session is full, check back 24 hours later for the recorded link for the same session.
  • ALL PRERECORDED SESSIONS CAN BE FOUND HERE.

This workshop was developed with beginning and novice teachers in mind. Participants will review what classroom management is and why it is important, starting with the impact of positive and authentic relationships. From there, participants will move into looking at rules, routines, procedures and strategies. The goal is to help participants create classrooms in which both the students and the teachers can be successful.
