Where are you?
In this session Ian will help you answer this basic question by turning our gaze ever farther outwards- first measuring distances to nearby objects, then expanding outwards through the solar system, the galaxy, and eventually finding our place in the universe. During this exploration we will revisit ideas of measurement, uncertainty and the very nature of science. All in a quest to understand where you are.
