  • In a session’s description window, click on the yellow button with the ▷ icon that says "Open Zoom", “Open Vimeo”, “Open YouTube”, or “Open Videostream” Click on this button. These links will become visible 10 minutes before the session starts.
  • Can’t see the yellow ▷ button or can’t press it to open the Videostream? You’re either not signed in to Sched or it’s not 10 minutes before the session start time.
  • If a session is full, check back 24 hours later for the recorded link for the same session.
  • ALL PRERECORDED SESSIONS CAN BE FOUND HERE.

Social studies educators teach about revolutions and resistance movements from the past, and this session focuses on how students might evaluate these events (or their components) as helpful or not. By weaving together three different concepts—Symbolic Evil (Jean Baudrillard), Truth Procedures (Alain Badiou) and Radical Love (bell hooks)—educators can provide not only another lens to understand the past, but also a way to think about radical change in our own contexts.
